Sutton Back Lane
A back lane (Shepherds Lane) in Plymouth's Sutton ward, looking towards Sutton Harbour and the Barbican. The cobbled back lanes of old Plymouth are typified by this shot and some are of great age.
Shepherds (Shepheard's) Lane almost certainly dates to pre-1860 as that is when it first appeared on ordnance survey maps. Plymouth, 2008 Sold: 1 canvas
