The Salt Wind BlowsOn a rise above Bantham Beach these trees and bushes are bent and burned by the prevailing salt winds off the sea. The coast gently rises with nothing in the way to slow the winds down. A beautiful, balmy place in the summer but it blows relentlessly and fiercely in the winter. Devon, 2007
