Merrivale Tor Approach

The approach to Merrivale Tor from Princetown. A snow-filled layby, half full of the dirty gravel-and-snow dumped by the snow ploughs is starting to melt in the thaw and a meltwater puddle is reflecting the glowering skies. A discarded shovel(?) lays half-buried, wooden handle pointing up the road in the direction of Merrivale Tor.
