Fencing In The Dunes

Taken in amongst the sand dunes of Bantham Beach. The fenced off areas are to keep people out while the wild grasses grow and bind the dunes, creating natural habitat for coastal wildlife. I have tried to capture the essence of the repeating pattern of the rough-hewn fence posts and the strong shadows they cast amongst the softer coarse grasses and sand. Devon 2007
