Low River Dart at Spitchwick
At its usually low ebb for the time of year, the River Dart at Spitchwick trickles and steps and picks its way through this overflow river bed. The small granite boulders, exposed to view during this time, are rounded and mis-shapen from the eons of attrition and rock-to-rock battering they receive when the river is swollen and raging in its rush to the sea.
