Light Grazing light-grazing.jpg

Light Grazing

A close-up shot in black and white of the head of a grazing miniature pony, Benjy - named, like the rest of his contemporaries, after one of Dartmoor's tors. The light is sculpting the shape of Benjy's face and his eyelashes are exquisite.

The title is a play on the word grazing, allowing not just for the pony's eating method but also the fact that the the light is grazing the side of the pony's face in sculpting it. Dartmoor Miniature Pony Centre, 2009
