Trawling the digital darkroom

Here's another from Felixstowe I finally got round to processing...

Huddled together

Beach Huts At Felixstowe Seafront

Just like penguins huddled together for warmth, these beach huts hunker down, over-wintering and dreaming of the summer to come.

Hi Julie - From your blog, I wouldn't be surprised if you do! Welcome aboard :)

@Dors: It's well worth the visit - if only once or twice. The pebble beaches are quite vast - and quite bleak in winter!

@Betty: Your prize is on the way... I'm not a great wordsmith but sometimes it works out :) Thank you and hope you had a great w/e too!

@Donna: thank you - the rest of me's not so bad either! hehe!! Watch out for my next post - I think you'll like it too...

Thanks again folks, I really do enjoy hearing from you all.

Thanks for that gogouci - really glad you liked it :) It was one of those brisk winter days with lots of sunshine coming from a low angle. Ideal for this kind of high-contrast shot.

I'd originally thought of giving it some HDR treatment to bring out lots of gritty texture in the clouds but the scene deserved the softness in the sky as it came out of the camera. I did use a graduated filter (in photoshop) on the sky though.
